Shiitake is a revered culinary mushroom. But is also renowned for its functional uses throughout eastern medicine such as for circulation, bone density and joint pain. Shiitake contains a number vital vitamins and minerals and has a wide range of uses from weight management to menopausal symptoms.

How To Use

Shiitake has a pleasant smokey umami taste making it perfect for incorporating into hot and cold drinks like coffee, cacao and smoothies. Shiitake can also be added to foods such as pasta, risotto and overnight oats. The fine spray dried particles dissolve almost effortlessly. 

Use 1-2 grams per day. 1g = 1 level scoop (measuring spoon included with each purchase). Best Before: 30.9.26. Once opened use within 45 days. Store in a cool, dark place. Out of reach of children. 40g Powder Per Bag.

Our Shiitake extract is derived 12x the volume of dried shiitake powder. i.e. 40g of Extract comes from 480g of Dried Shiitake Fruiting Body (12:1) The Extract is tested for heavy metals, pathogens, pesticides, allergens and potency. The result is an excess of 30% Polysaccharides. The concentrations of these active compounds is achieved through a Dual Extraction process (Alcohol and Water).
